The Author
From Methodist roots, Andrew came to personal faith whilst at university. Receiving the Holy Spirit led to a lifelong passion for studying scripture, fed by strong biblical teaching from his first pastor, and through the Christian Union.
He was for many years a London family doctor. After a sabbatical studying Christian healing, he took early retirement and moved into prayer ministry, church leadership, and mission work.
He has also written on other subjects, reflecting various aspects of his own spiritual journey. Some of these are listed here.
Having to ‘shield’ since Covid came five years ago, has meant being shut in with God much of the time. This has been a massive blessing-in-disguise - a season of deep joy! And John’s Gospel has been a constant wellspring.
